I have been blogging through active rain for about 4 years, and this forum has taught me so much.
Some of the very best bloggers in the country post on this forum. I have received all together now almost 9 million dollars in business through active rain. Not just through referrals, but through my online profiles and rankings.
When I was asked to do a live interview by The Realtor's Association of the Palm Beaches I quickly said yes, and almost immediately knew what I was going to speak about.
- It is time to get the word out. It is time to let everyone know how great and how much fun blogging can be.
- It is time to tell other people in the real estate industry how wonderful Active Rain has been to me and my business
- It is time to give credit where credit is due. Many companies and agents struggled in 2010, but why did I have the 2nd best year of my career? Partly due to active rain.
- It is time to speak about blogging and its effect on our real estate community.
If anyone has read the book "Freakanomics" you know what some of the public thinks of real estate agents. However, since that book came out about 7 years ago, we have made great strides in real estate agents reputations and trust. This is partly because of forums like active rain.
