Every year I try and post this as the May 1st deadline approaches for paying for your PA, LLC's and Corporations in Florida.  You may have already received this in the mail and it looks legitamate so most people pay it before looking into it.  This is a scam.  It is not required of you and the $125 does not exempt you from the $150 you must pay to the state.  So please if this reaches even 1 person a year and they do not pay it I will feel like this post was worth it.

WARNING!! Do You Have a PA or LLC You Must READ!

Many of us have PA's or LLC's as our real estate license.  I want to make sure you are aware of a scam that is going around.

The company is so called Compliance Services.  They send you a document and ask for $125 to do a required annual minutes.  You however are not required to do an annual minutes report nor should you pay $125 for basically nothing.  The Better Business Bureau has given them an F.  In the State of Florida you are required to pay the annual report of $150 on www.sunbiz.org prior to May 1st.

Many agents and businesses have fallen for this.  Please do not.
