If you are like me you are always trying to find little vacations with your kids to go to that is both inexpensive and convenient once you are there. We have found just that place. The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa. We have been there 3 times and are planning to go again in August.
The pools are great with a waterfall and a great 140 foot water-slide. There is also a small water-slide for toddlers. Great lagoon pool. The restaurants are very good especially the upscale one called Tarpon Bay. The staff is amazing. We went to the Ritz Carlton in Naples as well and the staff and overall appeal of this hotel blows away the Ritz. Immediately upon checking in they gave a bucket a shovel with a coloring book for the kids. They could not have been more courteous.
I have a 6 year old child who has severe food allergies. We had the opportunity to speak to the chef and they made her amazing meals. They just could not have been more accommodating.
There is also a beach you can go to by boat. So many activities for the kids from the live singing to the smores on the pool deck to all kinds of water activities just a great way to spend a vacation where it is not too expensive and you do not have to ever leave the hotel. Just the kind of vacation I look for.
